Twenty-second Prince of Dol Amroth, brother-in-law of Denethor and uncle of Boromir and Faramir, Imrahil is descended in an unbroken line from the Numenorean Imrazôr and, as Dol Amroth’s legend has it, the elf-maiden Mithrellas, therefore being not only of Dunedain heritage but also having claim to Elven blood. As the leader of the Knights of Dol Amroth, Imrahil is a commander of unparalleled dignity and power, gifted in the fields of tactics and wound treatment, loyal to the rule of Gondor whether Steward or King. Having fought long in battles near the Crossings of Poros, the Imrahil bears his standard into the fray - silver swan-prowed ship on a blue field – leading the charge of his Knights from the front, the Prince’s expertise in war and valiance preserving him and his men from harm.
